From the moment you arrive in that place they give you a good feeling. Very hospitable team, it is a nice place to pass time with your friends or with your date. delightful cooking, experienced chef de cuisine, modest cost and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

Truely the best food at a fair price. Large portions. Service is fast and friendly. Sangria out of this world. But cant say enough about the food from seafood to the steaks prime cuts.The chicken dishes. And traditional Portuguese homemade food like my mom is back there cooking . I drive 45 minuets here because of this .worth it... Owner is always there friendly runs a great business. Dont get fooled by the small outside appearance.

The place is really good and the filet mignon with shrimp is definitely the best I have ever eaten!! I highly recommend this restaurant, but don't go without money. 😉

Best Portuguese food

The best place probably in the Newark Kearny area it's a gem that is disguised as a bar but inside there's plenty of seating and everything on the menu is A+. Large portion of dates great Seafood traditional Portuguese dishes. My favorite garlic chicken breast also have variety of other menu items that suit everyone. Try the sangria it's the best

This place is excellent and broad, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very affordable. rapidly, productive service and very affable waiters. Will definitely recommend this place.

Due to the pandemic, there is now outdoor dining. The food is still wonderful, the sangria FANTASTIC! The waiters are great, always a pleasure to see them!I’m glad they’re back and will be definitely going back very soon!

Great place! Awesome food, cold water and amazing atmosphere. Came here for lunch and had the boiled codfish and pork sandwich. Soooo yummy! Authentic Portuguese food and they speak Portuguese as well. Don’t worry, they speak English too! Tables have real linen and real linen tablecloths. Full bar service as well. Amazing place! Money well spent for great food!!!Only down about this place is no parking. All parking is on the street parking with meters.

My favorite restaurant. I come here about every month all the way from Pennsylvania and always try something new. Nothing ever dissapoints. Large portions, great friendly staff and incredibly prepared food. Great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Check it out if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed

Honestly the best Portuguese restaurant in town. Great sangria, amazing food, and super cool divey vibe. The prices are great and if you need a recommendation, the chicken francesa is the way to go.
